In light of this, many of their fans thronged to their social media handles to congratulate and celebrate the award-winning songstress who had announced that she was expecting her first child through her latest single titled, ‘Duduke’.

However, when Saturday Beats reached out to a close source to the couple who preferred anonymity, the source confirmed that Simi was currently abroad with her husband and mother but had not put to bed.

The source, while thanking fans for the congratulatory messages, noted that the couple would announce the birth of their child when it happens.

“Simi is still pregnant but she will give birth any time from now. We are expecting the news at any moment. Her family is with her abroad. She was there before the release of ‘Duduke’ video. Right now, she has slowed down with some of her works but she has not given birth. Whenever Simi puts to bed, everybody would know,”

The couple has always kept part of their private life out of the social media space. Their 2019 wedding was a private affair which was attended by only close family and friends who didn’t share photos or videos of the couple or the wedding ceremony on social media.

Fans, however, caught a glimpse of the wedding when the couple released a music video that captured some of the joyful moments.

You might remember that in May 2011, it was announced that May D signed to the P Square-owned Square Records.

On May 24, 2020, as Cynthia Morgan became the lead trending topic on Twitter NG, May D has also weighed in with his story.

He took to his Twitter account and wrote, "For your information I was staying in their boys squatters with their driver and their cook just one room all of us shared a toilet and I had big songs and also the other side of their twin duplex was empty! Now! I slept on brand new television carton used my shirt as cover cloth."

You might remember that in May 2011, it was announced that May D signed to the P Square-owned Square Records. He then featured on a remix of 'Chop My Money' by P Square and alongside Akon. A short while after, Square Records also shot videos like 'Soundtrack' and 'Ile Ijo' for the University of Lagos graduate, May D.

Then in August 2012, May D announced his split from Square Records and announced his own label, Confam Entertainment. Before he signed to Square Records, he was best known for his hook on Kel's 'Too Fine' and as the rapper on Alaye's SugarKane Records. Alaye is the rapper who featured on P Square's 'Temptation' in the 2000s.

At the time, Jude 'Engees' Okoye said, "We at Northside and Square records wish him all the best in his career and life."

But in January 2013, Jude Okoye told HipOn TV that, "We sign in artistes as our way of giving back to the society, and by the time they become known, we let them be. However when May D came in, he wanted more than that, he wanted to be Psquare, a name that we have struggled to be build for years…”

Recently, May D released an EP titled, May Day.

You might remember that Northside Entertainment was owned by P Square's older brother, Jude 'Engees' Okoye.

On Saturday, May 23, 2020, Nigerian singer, Cynthia Morgan had an Instagram Live chat with the No. 1 advocate of her comeback, Sandra Ogbebor (MsVania7).

Since then, she has been the No. 1 trending topic on Twitter NG. In some sections, #BringBackCynthiaMorgan has also become a thing. Ogbebor has taken it upon herself to restart Morgan's career and has even opened a GoFundMe account for the cause. During the chat, Morgan talked about her stint with Northside Entertainment and the sour ending to that chapter.

In the wee hours of May 24, 2020, as Cynthia Morgan started blowing up on Twitter, Mr. P weighed in on the matter. You might remember that Northside Entertainment is owned by Peter and Paul of P Square's older brother, Jude 'Engees' Okoye.

In 2017, P Square had a very public falling out. Their older brother reportedly took Paul's side in the conversation and left Peter by himself. Peter has now all but confirmed the terrible treatment Morgan got from Northside Entertainment and how the label demonized him when he tried to take Morgan with him when he exited the label.

In three tweets, he wrote, "And some people thought i was stupid when I made the right decision [to leave Paul and Jude]. My dear C Morgan! it’s never to late to be what you might have been. God will surely see you through and carry you through the storm. Keep believing.

"My dear C Morgan, The decision I made 3yrs ago was never about the [fame],money or power! It was for my FREEDOM! Sad you rejected the contract i gave u. Just because they made you see me like the bad egg. I pray you understand that God has a purpose for everything. Never give up.

"The Truth shall prevail. God will surely see you through C Morgan... Gnight."

With the conversation going viral on Twitter, Cynthia Morgan's former manager, Joy Tongo has replied the singer with claims that Morgan is lying.

She tweeted that, "Cynthia Morgan this is 2020, we haven’t forgotten all your dirt ! Internet does not lie , emails does not lie and much more . I am coming for you ! All the dirt you did to I and Jude and others you must pay this time around . Is over 4 years and you are still talking trash!

"Cynthia Morgan you are advised to let people know the truth , else we would tell them the truth PS: Your former management."

Pulse Nigeria has reached out to Cynthia Morgan and Jude Okoye on the matter.
